A Home Measured in History
This was once an original War Office corridor, walked by message-runners and telegram trolleys. HBA made it the defining gesture: a central gallery that now carries tapestries, bespoke chandeliers and a private bar – an arrival that unfolds rather than announces.
Floorplan
The reception overlooks the former Scotland Yard offices, joined to the kitchen by Crittall glass doors that open for company or close for calm. One of four bedrooms may serve as a study.
Depth and drama are drawn from the materials themselves. Engineered Stained Oak and restored original mosaic – Nero Marquina and White Camponili – carry the floors through the living and circulation spaces. The Smallbone kitchen sits in Perla Venata stone, grounding the home in its own history.
